PILLAR 04

GROWTH SYSTEMS

Most growth spending is rent. Stop paying and it stops. We build the mix that gets customers now and the position that keeps producing after the spending ends.

Local SEO · Google Business Profile · Google Ads · AI integration · Consulting

Owned, not rented.

THE PROBLEM

Turn the ads off and see what you actually built.

That's the honest test. If everything stops the day the card stops, you don't have growth — you have a subscription to attention. Nothing wrong with paying for it; the mistake is paying for it forever while never building the thing that would eventually make it optional.

01

Everything you have is rented.

Ads bring customers while they run and nothing while they don't. Meanwhile the free position — the map result, the local search, the profile people actually check before calling — sits half-finished because nobody owned it.

02

You're spending, and you can't tell what worked.

Money goes out across ads, boosts, listings and a directory someone sold you. Customers come in. Nothing connects the two, so the decision to spend more or stop is made on feel. Usually the wrong thing gets cut.

03

Growth you can't handle isn't growth.

Enquiries arrive and sit for two days. Calls go to voicemail during service. The form goes to an inbox nobody opens. Spending more to generate more of the same is the most expensive mistake in this list, and it's the most common.

DELIVERABLES

Four levers, sequenced. Not four invoices.

These aren't separate services sold alongside each other. They trade against each other — ads buy speed, search builds position, and one of them costs more the longer you rely on it. The work is knowing which to pull, in what order, for where you actually are.

Diagnosis

  • Where customers genuinely come from now, not where you assume
  • What you're spending and what each thing returns
  • The gap between demand in your area and the share you're getting
  • A named sequence — what to fix first, and why the others wait

Local visibility

  • Google Business Profile built out properly — categories, services, attributes, hours, products, the fields almost nobody fills
  • Photo and post cadence, because the profile decays without it
  • Local search structure across your site
  • Citation and listing consistency
  • Review generation that isn't awkward to ask for

Advertising

  • Campaign structure built around intent, not keyword volume
  • Landing pages that match the ad, so the click isn't wasted
  • Budget set to what the market can absorb rather than what's available
  • Negative keywords maintained, because that's where budget quietly leaks

AI and workflow

  • The repetitive parts automated — follow-up, scheduling, first response, routing
  • Faster reply times, which for local enquiries is the single largest conversion factor
  • Reporting that assembles itself instead of eating a morning
  • Practical integration into how you already work, not a tool you'll abandon in March

Measurement

  • Tracking that survives the questions — which channel, which page, which campaign
  • Call and form attribution
  • Monthly read in plain language, not a dashboard screenshot

Every account stays yours. Your Google Ads account, your Business Profile, your analytics, your data. Not agency-held, not rebuilt from scratch if you leave.

PROCESS

Controlled execution, from first audit to ongoing management.

Growth is the pillar with no finish line. The first three stages establish position; REFINE is where the work actually lives.

  1. 01

    AUDIT

Findings inside 48 to 72 hours

Where customers come from, what's being spent, what's returning, what's leaking. You get the findings whether or not you continue — and for most businesses this alone changes the next decision.

  2. 02

    BUILD

    Scales with scope

Profile, structure, tracking and campaigns built in the order the audit named. Owned assets first where possible, because paid works better on top of a solid position than instead of one.

  3. 03

    LAUNCH

    Days after you approve

Live, tracked, and reporting from day one. No campaign runs before measurement does.

  4. 04

    REFINE

    Ongoing

Budgets shift, keywords change, competitors move. We adjust monthly against what's actually producing, not against a plan written in month one.

ENGAGEMENT

Three ways in. Pick the one that describes your situation.

DIAGNOSTIC

1 week

For when you're spending and can't tell what's working. A full read of where customers come from, what each channel returns, and what to do next — delivered as a plan you can act on with or without us. Same standard as everything below it, smaller first move.

CAMPAIGN

2 to 3 weeks

For when you need customers in a defined window. One lever, run properly — a local push, an ads campaign, a seasonal drive. Built, tracked, and honestly reported at the end.

PROGRAM

Monthly, ongoing

For when growth needs to be someone's job. The full mix managed month to month: local position, advertising, workflow, measurement. Levers adjusted as the market moves.

Not sure which one? Send the inquiry and describe the situation. If the answer is that your Business Profile needs an hour of attention and nothing else, we'll say so.

Every engagement is priced against scope after the audit. No packages sold blind, no number invented before we've seen what's actually there.

SELECTED EXPERIENCE

Local visibility, in categories where the map result is the storefront.

Local visibility and Google Business Profile experience across hospitality, entertainment and local marketing — through previous in-house marketing and agency account management roles.

  • Ocean Downs Casino Google Business Profile optimisation, local visibility, signage, promotions, SEO agency coordination, event support and partnership marketing, through an in-house marketing role.
  • High Ultra Lounge Google Business Profile optimisation and daily social execution through an agency account management role, supporting promotional communication and brand consistency for a premium nightlife destination.
  • Renaissance Hotel Google Business Profile optimisation and daily social media management through an agency role, including profile updates, content creation and brand-aligned posting for a recognised hotel brand.

Categories where people check the map before they call, and where an out-of-date profile costs a booking that never becomes a phone call you'd know about.

QUESTIONS

The things people ask before they commit.

How much should I spend on ads?

Less than you think, until we know what converts. Starting small and spending into what's working beats setting a budget and hoping. And if the audit says ads aren't your problem, we'll tell you before you spend anything — misdirected ad spend is the most common thing we find.

Isn't Google Business Profile free? Why would I pay for that?

It's free the way a shop window is free. Filling it properly, keeping it current, handling categories and services and photos and reviews and posts — that's work, and almost nobody does it. It's also, for most local businesses, worth more than any paid channel. We say that knowing it argues against selling you ads.

Will this get me to the top of Google?

For your name and your immediate area, that's realistic. For broad competitive terms, anyone promising it is either guessing or lying. The honest version: there are searches you can win and searches you can't, and knowing the difference is most of the work.

What does "AI integration" actually mean?

Practical things. Enquiries answered faster because the first response is automatic and doesn't sound automatic. Reports that build themselves. Repetitive follow-up that happens whether or not you remembered. Not a chatbot on your website — those mostly annoy people.

What if it doesn't work?

You'll know early, because measurement goes in before anything runs. If a channel isn't producing we move the budget rather than defend the decision. And if something we built isn't producing, we say so before you have to ask, and we make it right. What that looks like depends on what went wrong — but you won't be the one chasing us.

I already have someone doing my ads.

Then the audit tells you whether they're doing it well, and you're free to keep them. We'd rather be honest about that than take over something that's already working.

Do I need this if my website is new?

Growth works better on top of a site that converts, which is why the order usually goes website first, then growth. If your site was just rebuilt, this is the natural next step. If it wasn't, we'll say so.

NEXT

Growth multiplies whatever's already there.

That's the catch. Send more people to a site that doesn't convert and you've paid to prove it doesn't. Run ads for a brand that looks behind and you've bought attention for the wrong impression. Growth is the last thing to turn on, and the first thing people reach for — which is why so much of it gets wasted.

Build the standard before your competitors catch up.

Start with a project inquiry. Tell us what you're spending and what you're getting. If the fit is right, we build the system.
